Venice, Italy

Could not start boarding the ship until one oclock so we ordered a large taxi for noon. Everything fit, luggage and scooter and the four of us, and we were off to the cruise ship terminal. Jan's priority boarding got us on very smoothly, and Dick and Shiela's status of requiring assistance got them on board even faster, not having to get through the congestion of the photographer's shots of us all.

At last on board, Dick was the only one who went out wandering as the rest of us savored the start of the second phase of the journey and successful completion of the driving phase.

We explored the ship and just chilled out for the rest of the day, and hit the horizon court for dinner rather than the formal dining room. Relaxing now in familiar territory.
