London, England

An early morning, up with Tara to be with her as she readied herself for work. After that, a general layabout for Jan and I as we worked on web pages and pictures, read the web news, chatted, cleaned up the flat, and scrubbed the shower door, and drank tea. All the way until 4:10pm when I left to go meet with Tara as she got off from work. A huge traffic jam on King's Road, it took twice as long to get to Picadilly Circus as normal, an hour rather than half an hour.

She was ready shortly after 5:30pm, and we walked a fair distance to get to the #10 bus, bound for Kensignton High Street where we were to go to the Whole Foods store for some special purchases she needed. I stopped at Starbucks on the way, where she met me later with her purchases, including treats for all of us. Then onto the tube, the Central line, to Fulham Broadway.

Once there, down a few doors to the Union Market where we shopped for dinner, including some lovely steaks from a very helpful butcher. Then about a 15 minute walk home to 4 Fountain House, Imperial Wharf. Leanne and Jan already there enjoying a glass of wine that Leanne brought, dinner was started and finished among the most excellent chatter among the four of us. A wonderful evening. Then Leanne home by cab and we cleaned up as we prepare to leave by cab at 3:00am. Crazy.
