McKinleyville, California to Chilliwack, B.C.

Not much to say about today, just a day of driving. We were up and out by 8:00am, and sad goodbyes to a lovely and caring family. Then Jan and I were out the gate and right on Hiller, up to Central Avenue, a stop for gas, and on 101 heading north.

We stopped in Crescent City for breakfast at McDonalds, then north to Hwy 199 and east to Grants Pass. From there, north to Roseburg for gas and an early snack at Dennys, and some munchies for the road. From there up to Salem, a gas and McDonalds salad stop, then gas again on Hwy 542 when we turned toward Sumas off I-5, then the border and home.

A good, safe ride, uneventful, just long and with our thoughts on Marion and Garry. We were in the house by 10:00pm, and to bed.
