Palos Verdes Estates, Ca

Tuesday morning, a leisurely breakfast and chatter, then lunch at a lovely local resort (Terranea), then a tour around the Palos Verdes area and some shopping at Trader Joe's for some dinner wine. A wonderful destination that Jan and Celine had visited yesterday while Bob and I monkeyed around with the car.

Spectacular dinner this evening, a traditional 'Raclette' dinner complete with ham and swiss cheese and French bread. Sort of like a Swiss version of a Fondue or a Hot Pot, cooking on your own portion of a communal grill. Perfect with good conversation, good wine, good food, and good friends. Chocolate mint ice cream for desert, Jan's favorite.
