Early day, breakfast at the hotel restaurant and then downtown to see 'old Santa Fe'.
Bonus day!!! Free parking at the central government parking lot on the weekend said the lady in the tourist bureau office. We got a walking map of the town and set off hiking. Turns out that everything that we wanted to see was withing a half-mile radius, and we were early enough to see many of the native indian vendors just setting up their wares in front of the old governor's palace.
Saw all the sights that there were to see, had lunch, bought stuff, then back to the car exhausted in late afternoon.
Tomorrow headed via the back roads to Winslow, Arizona.
