Very important visitors today, Shane and Sonja have arrived for a short (3 day) visit from Cyprus. They are family, and they took the time to be with Jan and I and the girls for the Canadian Thanksgiving Weekend.
They were jetlagged on arrival, getting in at 3:30am London time at Gatwick, and here at 6:15am. We had breakfast, they had a nap, then to the grocery store (the last photo in the set), then we went out and about to walk and chat. Went to Gunnersbury Park in Acton Town, close to the girl's flat, and a former home of the Rothchilds clan. The mansion was nice, the grounds spectacular, the weather outstanding, and the conversation and shared memories fantastic.
Then to a couple of pubs (its London, isn't it?) for pints and more chat, then home for dinner where Tara joined us with Leanne coming in later after 'leaving drinks' for a co-worker at the bank. Reasonably early to bed, for a change. School day tomorrow, as the girls said.
